Film - 'KINGS':
An award-winning drama about lives that dwindled away, Kings shifts between the Irish and English language as it sees five immigrants from the Connemara Gaeltacht confronted with the poverty of their lives in London when the sixth of their number, Jackie, is found dead on a railway-line. Stars Colm Meany.
'THE MEN WHO BUILT BRITAIN':
A presentation telling the story of Irish labour in Britain. You'll hear readings including the famous poem 'Moriarty'; footage of the men who worked on the sites; and classic songs including Come My Little Son and McAlpine's Fusiliers.
