We are delighted to welcome the wonderful punk icon Edward Tudor-Pole to 50rpm for a night of music & stories

Ed Tudor Pole will be best known to many as the frontman of the band Tenpole Tudor, and hits like 'The Swords of a Thousand Men', or maybe as the host of the popular Channel 4 show The Crystal Maze, or perhaps for his many movie appearances, but however you know Ed, he has a story to tell about them all.
Briefly a member of the Sex Pistols, Ed has had a fascinating and colourful life and a varied, unpredictable career. He appeared in the Pistols’ film 'The Great Rock ’n’ Roll Swindle' before fronting Tenpole Tudor.
But before all that, Ed attended RADA, which stood him in good stead when he moved away from being in front of the mic, to in front of the camera, appearing in film like 'Sid & Nancy' and 'Absolute Beginners'.
When Channel 4 axed The Crystal Maze, Ed returned to his first love of music & gigging.
March 2025 sees the release of Ed's memoirs, 'The Pen Is Mightier', which details an extraordinary career and life, this is both fascinating and extremely funny.
This very special one man show sees Ed perform hits from Tenpole Tudor along with songs that he loves and have influenced him, interspersed with stories from his life & career and a chance to ask Ed some questions.
We can't wait for this very special intimate evening with a true punk rock icon.
