Commissioned and Produced by Pete Townshend and created by Reg Meuross, Fire and Dust- The Woody Guthrie Story, is a journey into the Heart and Soul of one of America's finest Folk Musicians.

Fire and Dust brings to life, channelling the spirit of Guthrie's defiant activism, creative brilliance, and unyielding hope for Justice.
With songs and stories highlighting Guthrie's fight against racism, inequality, and injustice. Fire and Dust draws poignant parallels between Guthrie's time and our present day.
Townshend initiates this project, viewing it, the project, as drawing a direct line from Woody Guthrie, through Bob Dylan, to Reg Meuross, describing the Project as Folk Music at its best.
The extraordinary performance combines Meuross's song writing mastery, with Guthrie's enduring legacy, creating an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and history.
