Formed in 2022 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trio Casella won first prize at the 2024 Piano Trio Society Intercollegiate Competition, the 2023 Ivan Sutton Chamber Music Competition and the 2023 St James Chamber Music Competition. They won third prize at the 2024 Renzo Giubergia International Chamber Music Competition. They have performed at venues such as Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St John’s Smith Square, Barnes Music Society, and Leeds Lunchtime International Chamber Music Series. Their multiple broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 include the UK premiere of Missy Mazzoli’s ‘A Thousand Tongues’ in 2024 and a performance of 'Svartsjukans nätter’ (Nights of Jealousy) by Sibelius with soprano Caroline Bourg, which was described by The Arts Desk as 'exquisitely delivered' in 2023. Trio Casella have enjoyed performing masterclasses for musicians such as the Gould Trio, the Linos Piano Trio, the Takács Quartet and Ralf Gothoni.

Violetta Suvini is the 2024 recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Emily Anderson Prize, awarded annually to an outstanding violinist in the UK. She was awarded First Prize at the Premio Internazionale Il Suono Giovane 2024 with pianist Henry Lewis, and has won First Prize at competitions such as the Rovere d’Oro Concorso Internazionale and the D’Addario Festival String Competition. She is a Britten Pears Young Artist for the 24-25 season. Violetta has performed chamber music in venues such as Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St John’s Smith Square, Holywell Music Room, and the Sheldonian Theatre. Performances at major festivals include Aldeburgh Festival, Schiermonnikoog Festival, Classical:NEXT, Bloomsbury Festival, the BBC Proms, Maiastra, and Oxford Chamber Music Festival.

Gabriel Francis-Dehqani has performed extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Asia, broadcasting numerous times as a soloist and chamber musician on BBC Radio 3 & 4. He was awarded First Prize at the Muriel Taylor Cello Competition, the International Contemporary Music Interpretation Competition and the Irish Heritage UK competition, held at Wigmore Hall. He has performed at venues such as Wigmore Hall, The Arnold Schönberg Center, St Martin-in-the Fields, St John’s Smith Square and been invited to festivals around Europe such as The Aldeburgh Festival, Classical:NEXT, Maiastra, Santander Encounter of Music and Academy, Schiermonnikoog and IMS Prussia Cove.

Dublin-born pianist Luke Lally Maguire is currently studying on the Artist Diploma programme at Guildhall School of Music where he studies with Carole Presland, Charles Owen and Ronan O’Hora. A versatile pianist, alongside his work as a solo pianist, Luke is sought after as a collaborative and chamber musician, frequently performing in collaborations for recitals and concerts. Recently, Luke won first prize in the 2024 Glass Sellers Beethoven Prize at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama

The group won the 2024 Piano Trio Society Intercollegiate Competition. In 2023, they won the Ivan Sutton Chamber Music Competition and St James’s Chamber Music Competition. They have broadcast multiple times on BBC Radio 3 and performed at venues including Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, Milton Court Concert Hall and Princess Alexandra Hall. The group has enjoyed performing masterclasses for musicians such as the Takács Quartet, the Gould Trio and Ralf Gothoni.
