Event information
Join Cinemagic for a spotlight on kids’ animation Nikhil & Jay based on the books by Chitra Soundar, following the adventures of two Indian/British dual heritage brothers and their loveable family. With both Indian and English grandparents, their life is a rich blend of customs, traditions, festivals, foods and music.
Enjoy a fun filled screening of 3 of the episodes followed by an exciting opportunity to hear from some of the brilliant team who worked on the show, Jamie Teehan, Series Director, Charlotte Kieran, Animation Director and Gabriel Nepomuceno, Trainee Animator! Learn how the programme was made and the fun the team had making it!
The series is produced for CBeebies by King Banana TV (Yakka Dee!, Meet the Experts), Paper Owl Films (Pablo, Happy The Hoglet) and CAKE (Angry Birds Summer Madness and Mama K’s Team 4), with funding from Northern Ireland Screen. Episodes available on BBC iPlayer!
