Event information
Wasted Youth music is "energetic, psychedelic, prone to semi-improvised and chaotic detours...combined with a selection of melodic and memorable tunes" (Billboard, 2024). "The original Wasted Youth, were probably one of the best bands to come out of post punk East London" (Louder Than War, 2022).
Wasted Youth return to YES! having played there a year ago. They will be promoting not one, but two new albums being released in April 2025. The first is 'Neo Noir'' on WY Records, a studio recorded 'debut' album by the current line-up. The second is 'Wild and...Raw' (HX/WY Records), an unreleased bunch of studio-outtakes from 1981. Both albums are fantastic and well-worthy of your hard-earned cash!
Specially guests for the evening are Concrete Club, a band formed at the end of 2022 and getting lots of plaudits from the likes of Liam Gallagher, Ian Brown, Mani and Andy Dunlop, to name but a few. Try to get here early to catch their energetic, in-your-face live performance. CONCRETE CLUB released four singles in 2024, all to fantastic reception, and have lined up more gigs in 2025, this being one of them!
This is Wasted Youth's only Manchester gig of 2025, so let's make it a night to remember.
