A hugely admired act on the UK comedy circuit, she commands respect from the moment she walks onstage and delivers with natural ease, energy and fierceness. Ria is the only female Filipina comedian in British stand up and headlines at major clubs in the UK and internationally.Ria has a BSc in Experimental Pathology, an MSc in Forensic Science and a PhD in Virology (which is just showing off, frankly) so it’s not only her comedy that is highly intelligent and no subject is too taboo. Her audacious routines always pack a punch and are brimming with charm and biting wit.Since breaking into the big time a few years ago she has hosted Live at the Apollo, as well as appearing on QI, The Last Leg and Have I Got News for You and is about to embark on her biggest national tour yet
