Event information
Samuel Gutiérrez Ortega is a renowned flamenco guitarist born and raised in the Alameda de Hércules neighborhood in Seville, Spain. His career is marked by performances in various tablaos across Seville, including Casa de la Memoria, La Casa Ensamblá, Tablao Milagritos, Flamenquería, Pura Esencia, and La Alcasala. He has also worked with the dance company Taban&Co. in Jaén, performing throughout the province and participating in the Festival Flamenco Ciudad de Jaén.
Internationally, Samuel has collaborated with the Academia Renacer Flamenco in Italy and performed at El Cortijo Tablao in Stuttgart, Germany. Notably, he played at Cádiz's Teatro Falla with the villancicos group Tomacastaña alongside Pastora Galván.
Samuel's musical education began at the Alicia Vega Academy under Juan Carlos Domínguez, followed by private lessons with José Manuel Roldán and group classes with Miguel Ángel Cortés. He further refined his skills at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, studying with esteemed artists like El Niño de Pura and Rafael Riqueni. His extensive training and diverse performances have established him as a respected figure in the flamenco scene.
