Rick Stein will be in conversation with national print journalist, Natasha Harding, to launch his new book, 'Rick Stein's Christmas: Recipes, Memories, and Stories for the Festive Season' (Published 6 Nov 2025 by BBC Books)
Rick Stein's passion for using good-quality local produce and his talent for creating delicious recipes in his books and restaurants have won him a host of awards, accolades and fans. As well as presenting a number of television series, he has published many bestselling cookery books, including French Odyssey, Rick Stein's Long Weekends, Rick Stein’s India, Rick Stein’s Simple Suppers and most recently Rick Stein's Food Heroes.
Rick has always believed in showcasing local seafood and farm produce in his four restaurants in Padstow, Cornwall, where he also has a cookery school, food shops and a pub in the nearby village of St Merryn. In 2018, Rick was awarded a CBE for services to the economy. He divides his time with his wife and business partner Sarah between Padstow, London and Australia, where he also has two seafood restaurants by the sea in Mollymook and Port Stephens NSW.
The event will include a Q&A with the audience so prepare a good question!
Tickets include a £5 voucher towards Rick's new book.
Spencer Thorn Bookshop will provide books for Rick to sign after the event.
