Who the honk do you thonk you are? Finally, a comedy show that isn't afraid to pose the questions we're all asking ourselves: Who the h*ck do I think I am? Is my personality the reason I'm single? Do I ever feel like a plastic bag? Two of Oxford’s rising stand-up comedians, Anna and Foo, should be working on their PhDs but are instead fixing our collective existential crisis by bringing you an hour of sharp wit, storytelling, and deeply nonsense-infused sketches to make big ideas less boring, big questions less daunting, and big feet less sexualized.
Yes, there will be goose-based content. Yes, there is a personality test. Yes, your personality is likely to blame for why you’re single. But we’re here to help with our fresh take on who you are, who we are, and is it OK to feel like a plastic bag when paper is more sustainable?
From competitors to colleagues, these two goofy geese are both Chortle Student Award Finalists, with Anna being praised for her “low-key disarming charm” and “skillfully constructed anecdotes” and Foo being crowned winner of the 2024 awards by “coining strong gags” that supercharge his dynamic delivery as an “assured and pacy performer” (Chortle). Described as having a real “will they / won’t they?” energy with regard to the question of being deported back to South Africa and Midwest America, they are firmly committed to abiding by their visa condition to make sure all who attend their shows leave deeply satisfied.
As seen at the Latitude festival, the Leicester comedy festival, and top comedy clubs in and outside the UK, these two saucy scallywags have been performing far and wide, and could not be more delighted to be bringing this refined hour of whimsy to you.
