Event information
Amelia Crotchet is a semi-failed classical musician in a double act with her violin. She is about to play the most important concert of her career: a complete performance of Bach’s repertoire for solo violin, accompanied by a complete history of his life and works. Unfortunately though, Amelia is easily distracted. Before she gets to Bach’s partitas, she has to explain her relationship with Violin, the practical uses of opera and Violin’s latest business ventures. Expect silliness, musical puns, some historically questionable facts about Bach and, if she gets round to it, some beautiful classical music.
Tasmin Sarkany is a musical character stand up comedian. She was a Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breaker 2024, won third place in the West End New Act of the Year 2024 and was a finalist in the Musical Comedy Awards 2023.
“Highly skilful… ingenious” Chortle
