Rusty Fizzbang, vet to magical beasts, needs an apprentice. Ember Spark, looking for adventure, is his newest recruit, together with an unlikely friend called Arno. But keeping magical beasts a secret isn’t an easy task, especially with a string of villains hot on their heels…

Join bestselling children’s author, Abi Elphinstone at Daydreams Bookshop, as she talks about her new books: Ember Spark & The Thunder of Dragons, Ember Spark and The Frost Phoenix and Ember Spark & The Unicorn's Secret.

Abi will be revealing where she finds her ideas – from shower gel bottles and street signposts to adventures in Mongolia – as well as showing kids how to find their own stories, dream up titles and nail that opening line. This is an event that champions the joy of reading and writing while encouraging kids to be curious, courageous and kind.

Tickets are £15 per child and include a signed copy of Ember Spark and The Unicorn’s Secret.

This event is aimed at children aged 7-11.

Event will last from 4pm to 5pm. Parents must be present at start and end of event. If a parent would like to attend with their child, please email info@daydreamsbookshop.co.uk so that we can provide adequate seating.
