In her new one woman show, Un/Earthed, Inez Aponte follows a fragile thread back in time to meet the mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers that carried her family to safety and freedom.
Seamlessly combining biographical accounts with reworkings of Surinamese folklore she creates a new map of home, rootedness and belonging.
