Marjolein Robertson: Work in Progress
Hot off the heels of her sold-out 2024 Fringe run, where she was nominated for NextUp's Biggest Award in Comedy and ranked as one of the best-reviewed shows at the festival, Shetland-born standup Marjolein is trying out new material for her next show. As seen/heard on BBC New Comedy Awards, Rosie Jones' Comedy Extravaganza, Breaking The News and RHLSTP.
'Powerful, uncanny, and hilarious in equal measure. Marjolein Robertson’s star isn’t rising, it has risen' ****1/2 (Quintessential Review).
'Impish... upbeat, able to mine an everyday observation to almost absurdist lengths' ***** (List). 'Remember the name. This is a star in the making' ***** (One4Review).
