“Work Money Death” by Tony Burkill

Tenor Sax player Tony Burkill has been a legend on the Leeds Jazz scene for a long time whilst purposefully maintaining a low profile. ‘Work Money Death’ is his debut LP and was originally released in 2017. Tony’s music is inspired by the work of Gato Barbieri, Pharoah Sanders and John Coltrane, among others, which he uses as a foundation for his own improvised work.
