We are absolutely “knocked out" that the amazing Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys will be returning to play for us the Country Soul Sessions in June. Rockabilly Hall of Fame Artists Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite boys are truly one of the great Americana/Roots acts of our generation. Formed in 1988 this outfit have continued their steady progress through the landscape of Rock ’n’ Roll amassing influences and in turn influencing others on the way and in doing so keeping them a vital outfit in today's evolving musical scene. Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys features Robert Williams aka Big Sandy vocals & rhythm guitar, Ashley Kingman lead guitar, Wally Hersom bass & backing vocals and Ricky McCann on drums. Seeing this great band in our intimate venue will be one of those evenings in Soho that can just be simply called memorable. Don’t miss them.

The Real John Lewis
Penarth’s very own The Real John Lewis will also be returning to the Country Soul in June. With a musical odyssey spanning three decades Mr Lewis has been playing his infectious and unique brand of Rock ’n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Country Soul to audiences the world over. His recording output is just as impressive at the last count the Man has recorded for at least four separate labels such as the hip 'El Toro’ label amongst others. For this Session John will be playing solo but suffice to say his debut performance at the CSS was an absolute corker so join us and see this fine performer doing what he does.
