A summer solstice evening of experimental electronic music in the warmth and magic of By Our Hands We Make Our Way with:
A’BEAR
A'Bear is a psychedelic electronic musician, composer and DJ; a “livewire underground maverick” making what The Quietus described as “DIY technospacepop”. South African born, Australian raised and now London based, Janine A’Bear’s compositions and live shows are a thrilling blend of gnarly, mediative, motorik mayhem. High energy, technicolour, pulsating polyrhythms meet wonky vocal loops, distorted bass lines, glamour and glitch. Resident Advisor called it “wonderfully unhinged”. In 2024 A’Bear released her second album, Glammy Racket. It’s a joy. Her third is due this year on Castles in Space. Some years ago Hello Thor released the album Brutalist by Moscow Youth Cult (seek it out, it’s a belter) and A’Bear delivered a memorable, magnetic performance at the launch party at New River Studios. We are looking forward to seeing her play this intimate show at By Our Hands We Make Our Way.

THE SILVER FIELD
The Silver Field is the sound world of Coral Rose Kindred-Boothby. Voice, tapes, bass, samples, synthesis, strings, reeds, drums, small sounds, big sounds, sunlight, moonlight, a lot of water. Using a modular synthesizer and other self-built electronic instruments, The Silver Field weaves together song-soundscapes, creating a rich and dream-like sonic tapestry that draws from folk music tradition, experimental electronics and psychedelia. In 2024 The Silver Field received an Oram Award, in recognition of her innovative approach to music production.

ISIS MORAY
Isis Moray is the solo project of Sheffield-based artist and musician Jade Lauren. Isis Moray creates hypnotic, dreamy electronic soundscapes; combining haunting, ethereal vocals, dark ambient moods, rugged industrial techno and 80s synth textures. Isis Moray has released music on With Bells Records, Holy Crow Records and is currently recording an album for Castles In Space.
