Join local artist and creative mentor, Jools Teare at this creative workshop designed to spark imagination and celebrate the written word at the Leek Loves Books Festival on Saturday 7th June – This is a ticketed event with limited spaces, so booking is essential.
Best for: All ages, beginners to creatives, poetry lovers and anyone seeking a unique artistic outlet! (Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult).
What to expect: Participants use old book pages to craft unique poetry by blacking out unwanted text and enhancing their creations with artistic flourishes to make a personalised piece of blackout poetry art to take home.
Jools Teare is an artist and creative mentor with a passion for celebrating individuality and creativity. Jools specialises in interactive workshops that engage participants of all ages and skill levels. Her workshops focus upon blending artistic exploration and literary inspiration, creating memorable experiences that align perfectly with the spirit of the Leek Loves Books Festival.
