Event information
Heatons Comedy Club, Stockport returns in August with Freddy Quinne ( ‘A natural’ Manchester Wire), Jamie Hutchinson (‘Rising star’ The Sun), Eddy Midgeley and MC Dave Twentyman all coming to the best Stockport comedy club. Scroll down for comedians’ details.
Acts subject to change. Fully seated. 18+ Proper sweary swearing. We want all our guests to have a great night so please respect those around you by turning off your phone and not talking whilst the show is in progress. We can only refund or reallocate if the show is cancelled. Thanks!
One half of the hit Dead Men Talking podcast Freddy Quinne absolutely hates writing about himself in the third person but needed to fill out this part of his website because sometimes promoters will use these bios and copy and paste them into their own comedy events when he is on. Including us. We are going to add that he is half-Manx and a very safe pair of comedic hands.
‘King of underground comedy’ The Pulse ‘A natural comic’ Manchester Wire ‘Quality comedy’ Fringe Review
Jamie Hutchinson‘s horrible dating past, humiliating anecdotes, and perpetual singledom may sound more suited to a counselling session but, in the hands of this naturally funny craftsman make for a painfully funny set. Manc, ginger and proud, brace yourself for a full frontal comedic assault when Jamie pulls the mic form the stand. One liners, puns, pulling faces, uncanny characterisations and clowning are all utilised as deadly weapons in Jamie’s one man war on the mundane.
“Absolutely hilarious” Seann Walsh ‘Rising star’ The Sun “Simply phenomenal” Notts Comedy Review
Your evening comes complete with Eddy Midgeley and your host is affable, quick-witted banter merchant, Dave Twentyman. Dave survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile stolen from Barry Manilow. This is a man who could teach Teflon a trick-or-two but who remains vastly more fun than your average frying-pan. What higher praise can there be? A regular performer at many of the best weekend clubs in the country, Dave has also performed at music festivals including Leeds, V Festival and Download.
The Heatons Comedy Club is booked, marketed and produced by Comedy In A Van and held at Heatons Sports Club
