Fini Bearman joins us at Hot Numbers as part of her current tour for her 5th studio album, Last Night of the World (Pastiche Records), singer- songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Bearman is joined for this intimate gig by pianist Tom Cawley (Peter Gabriel, U2) for a special night showcasing this new music.
An eclectic collection of jazz, folk & pop-infused songs, Last Night of the World draws on experiences of motherhood & new beginnings. Inspiration for the songs is drawn from a diverse spectrum of influences: the melodic inventiveness of Madison Cunningham, the esoteric jazz/folk realms of Becca Stevens, Chris Thile, Paul Simon and the electronic, minimalist songwriting voice of Bjork.
