Sephine Llo is a British composer and multi-instrumentalist, with an unconventional song-writing style that marries 18th Century UK folk roots, neoclassical flourishes and organically created glitchy electronica. A classically trained and multi award-winning artist (with the AMS Neve award for creative recording accolade, among others); and holder of a coveted First-Class Honours degree from the world-renowned Tonmeister course, her sound is an innovative and rich concoction of grave, distorted soundscapes wrapping around her heart-wrenching orchestrations, and uniquely ethereal, often choral-esque vocal harmonies.
Her debut EP Flame and first album I, Your Moon, garnered attention from the likes of Wonderland, 405, Clash, BBC3 Late Junction and Radio X ‘Xposure’, performing at Union Chapel and Wilderness Festival. However the loss of her husband Robbie (Autumn Chorus) to cancer when she was pregnant with their first child put an untimely hiatus on her creative career for several years; gratefully now she is back with her latest and most personal account to date, "Diamond Fall", incorporating samples of Robbie's unfinished works.
‘one of the most hypnotic and evocative sound frescoes of recent times...The songs are like mosaics’
Onda Rock Magazine
‘An album born from a devastating loss, this is arguably the most cathartic and healing release this year. A world to dive into and absorb, this may be fragile, but you can feel the strength at its core.’
