The Number Twenty- Bright and breezy indie pop, interesting arrangements, lots of hooks, all played with verve and conviction.

My Best Unbeaten Brother – a Croydon-based trio featuring Ben and Adam Parker, the two brothers behind such groups as Nosferatu D2 / The Superman Revenge Squad / Tempertwig. Joined by another Ben, they play frenetic and adventurous indie rock that is fun and instantly appealing. It is truly Frenetic indie pop, a bit Fall like in places but also we hear The Wedding Present.

Hideous Dress – Exponents supreme of the Camden Grunge scene, these guys and gal are on a mission to make Kurt Cobain resonate again. Job done.

The French Laundry- Soundscapes rendered on analogue synths and swathes of treated guitar, bit fripp and eno in places, also cluster and other kraut rock
