Neepsend Big Night Out #1 was a massive sell out success earlier this year with lots of happy faces and great music. Neepsend Big Night Out #2 will be another fabulous night with 4 bands, music, dancing socialising and beer (other drinks available). We will clear a space near the stage to form a dance space - so please bring your crepe soles and spangley dance outfits.

We aim to provide a very welcoming, kind, friendly, professionally DIY amateurish and hopefully amusing night out where everyone feels as if it could easily be them up on the stage.

7:30 pm The Bobilly Hillbeccas - West Yorkshire’s finest Country Folk collective
8:15 pm Alastair Gordon - local singer/songwriter

9:30 Fanny’s Old Time String Band - Old Time Bluegrass Country Pop band
10:15 pm dancing and socialising

Please tell everyone, bring your friends and have a fabulous evening regardless of whether you know band members/helpers/hosts or nobody - ALL welcome ! Oh - that brings me to our generous and friendly hosts Marion, Ollie and Zoe who run the excellent Forest Pub, Rutland Road, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 9PA (on the edge of Kelham island). and the Toolmaker’s brewery and village hall sized venue (formerly a toolmaker’s factory) at 6-8 Botsford Street, Sheffield, S3 9PF (please google website) where they make a range of fabulous and favourably priced beer which will be on sale 21/6/25 at the permanent bar. The venue has an excellent bar, stage, PA, lighting, toilets, and tables and chairs for those that want to sit down. etc. Tickets only £5 each !! All proceeds go to performers and helpers and expenses - see you there!
