Open Mic Night is Utopia Theatre’s platform for celebrating talent and creativity in Sheffield! This FREE monthly event is a golden opportunity for both upcoming and established creatives to share their art with a supportive and enthusiastic audience.
Expect the same Sunday evening sessions of inspiration and creativity in our vibrant inclusive space this June, PLUS a handful of new improvements over the coming months- starting with our BRAND NEW bar offering and Artist Spotlights! Let the creativity and the drinks flow, with our new selection of cold beers, wines and soft drinks to choose from.

We’re keen to ensure that creatives of all backgrounds and all disciplines have a platform to share their art, particularly those from groups that are underrepresented in the arts. We still welcome performers of all skill levels, so it’s a great place for you to start your creative journey, or build your current audience! Please aim to keep your performance to between 5-10 minutes long so that everybody has a chance to showcase their art on the night.
We want to keep being able to bring you the best quality events, which is why we’re asking those who are able to make a recommended donation of £5 to our charity.
