CHRYSALID HOMO NOVUS ORDO ALBUM LAUNCH
From the ashes of a world in ruin a new order rises: Novus Ordo.
Chrysalid Homo are peddlers of future-tinged electro-punk. This band of Salfordian sirens wishes to share with you their newest release: Novus Ordo. An album that has been described as "brilliant" by everyone that's had the pleasure to hear it.
Unwilling to shy away from lyrical themes that would make your grandma blush, Chrysalid Homo have written and recorded yet another groundbreaking album and provided their fans (present and future) with a plethora of subjects to tickle the brainstem.
Don't believe us? Well trust this review from a fan: "[sounds like] If John and Vangelis were locked in a nuclear bunker with Kenny from South Park and had to survive by eating rats and drinking their own urine."
WEST ECHO THREE
Hailing from Oldham UK, West Echo Three produce a noise most easily described as Metallic, Digital Post-Rock. With moods that shift from stark angularity, to lush crescendos, whilst lo-fi beats pulse under vocals that are in turn emotional and oblique, West Echo Three have gained a reputation as a formidable live act, comfortable on any stage. The band's passion for live excellence translates to their studio output, too, with their one EP and three singles (so far) receiving praise for their signature approach to songcraft.
KWYJIBO
Nothing much can be said for this t-shirt slinging satirist, other than we know he dons a laptop and a theremini. The mystery is there, whatever he's bringing to the table, we think we may be ready for it (just maybe).
Interim music supplied by the masterful DJ Jedredy.
