13:45 - Kaskade Sextet - six talented and dedicated college student musicians with a foundation rooted in classic jazz but with a great ear for original compositions. Future stars of the jazz world for sure! Alex Goodridge - trumpet, Thomas Moore - alto sax, Oliver Linguard - piano, Tom Groves - guitar, Will Thomas - bass, Josh Siddons - drums.
14:30 - Ben Gilbert Trio - brings a fresh take to Wakefield Jazz favourites in a performance that promises to honour tradition while igniting new excitement. Ben Gilbert - piano, Jose Canha - bass, Paul Smith - drums.
15:45 - Jon Taylor's Blues Spectrum - five leading blues players brought together in Jon Taylor's Blues Spectrum playing a programme of music from the 1950's right up to 2025. Jon Taylor - sax, flute. Pete Wade - guitar, Ian Rose - organ, John Heap - bass, Paul Smith - drums.
Doors open and food served at 1pm.
