We Shall Overcome (WSO) - 'We Shall Overcome is a grassroots community-based campaign to battle the effects of government-issue poverty on the streets of the UK. Since 2015 hundreds of volunteers have raised an estimated £650,000 of food, cash, clothing, bedding and toiletries for food banks, homeless outreach, soup kitchens, domestic violence units and refugee support."
Joe Solo - Joe Solo is an award-winning musician, writer, poet, activist, broadcaster and washing repair man from Scarborough!
On top of releasing nineteen albums since 2004, Solo has written books and had them written about him; runs a research project on the Hull Pals Battalions in the first world war; worked with underprivileged children to help them their lives in songs; co-runs May Day Festival of Solidarity, an nd politic annual event bringing together voices from music, poetry and politics to celebrate International Workers Day; hosts a weekly radio show; and still found time to open for the likes of Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Billy Bragg, Chris Wood, TV Smith, Louise Distras, David Rovics, Grace Petrie, Attila the Stockbroker, Otis Gibbs, Robb Johnson, Edgar Broughton, Naomi Bedford & Paul Simmonds, Emily Portman, Pete Wylie and The Blockheads! His Songs have been played by John Peel on Radio, Mike Harding on Radio Two and Tom Robinson on Six Music.
Joe's latest recording, with Rebekah Findlay "A Northern Coastal Town" was released in the summer of 2021.

You are very welcome at Rosslyn Court.
This is a seated and listening gig. It’s a very informal and friendly venue.
The first hour of the gig will be live streamed and after a short break there will be an extended session for the live audience only.
This is a unique opportunity to spend time in the company of great performers and have that amazing experience that comes with attending a real live concert.
There will be a bar., just don’t forget to ask for cake. There will be cake.
Please be in your seat by 7 pm…Latecomers will be embarrassed to enter after live streaming has started.
