A rare opportunity to hear Charlie Piggott (of De Danann fame) in combination with his son (and local musician!) Rowan Piggott. A bona fide Irish music legend, Charlie has had a lifetime of touring to such notable venues as Carnegie Hall (NY), The Royal Albert Hall (London) and The Great American Music Hall (San Francisco), so this will be a special and intimate occasion. Rowan has visited Cafe #9 before, both with his folk trio The Wilderness Yet and his oldtime duo Old Spot and occasionally hosts our session, so may be a familiar face to some of you. This is a chance to hear his musical heritage and experience the folk process in action as father and son pass tunes and songs back and forth.

From foot-tapping jigs and reels, to heartbreaking ballads, to hilarious old yarns, Charlie and Rowan promise a night to remember!
