David Bowie changed the face of modern music – repeatedly. Absolute Bowie have built a serious reputation for capturing the sound, look and ambition of every era. And they do it with style, substance and serious musical chops.
Voted UK’s Best Bowie Band at the National Music Tribute Awards (yes, by people who’ve heard them all), they’ve headlined venues across Europe and earned high praise from Bowie’s own circle of collaborators and fans. The NME described their show as “lovingly crafted”, and it shows – from the tailored recreations of classic album looks to the meticulous attention to vocal phrasing and arrangement.
The show covers essential ground: Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Heroes, Let’s Dance, Young Americans - all delivered by a tight five-piece band led by John O’Neill, whose vocal ability and timing hit all the right notes without ever slipping into parody.
Expect bold set design and costume changes that trace Bowie’s most famous personas. You’ll hear deep cuts alongside major chart hits, with each song treated as its own moment rather than part of a formula.
