no instrument + arts barge presents: Ryosuke Kiyasu, ish, Desmond Clarke and Oliver Collier
Ryosuke Kiyasu is an internationally renowned snare drummer from Japan. He's been touring his solo snare show since 2003 and is returning to the Arts Barge on the 6th of August.
ish explores open-form pieces and free improv. In this new formation ish is long-standing members Blandina (cello) and Clarke (oboe and electronics), and new collaborators Clasling (double-bass) and Ticciati (guitar and voice)
Desmond Clarke is an artist and musician who works with a combination of live electronics and acoustic multi-instrumental performance. His performances explore free improvisation, live coding, algorithmic music and noise.
Oliver Collier is a solo, primitive guitar player based in York. Raised all over England, Oli was surrounded by musicians and creatives, he grew up listening to folk music, drone, blues, prog-rock, 90’s emo, death metal and slowcore.
