Jezz Hellard, is one of the leading contemporary folk acts on the circuit, we are privileged to be able to bring his unique style to you here in Tolpuddle, where he will be joined by Nye Parsons on double bass and whoever else he can muster from his band of musicians that form his Djkella Orchestra. He is no stranger to this part of the world as he is constantly touring Europe and the UK and has absorbed influences far and wide. He has appeared on all the main festivals, including Glastonbury and our very own Tolpuddle Festival and has been a regular at Cambridge, Wessex and many more. Performing is in his DNA, he will play wherever there is an audience to listen, peoples kitchens, pubs, theatres, Concert or village halls and even on the street, the true travelling minstrel. This will be a totally acoustic, unplugged event with two or more of the countries finest musicians, an evening filled with laughter, songs, stories and some of the finest Harmonica and double bass playing you are ever likely to have heard.
