A native of Philadelphia, cellist Eliana Razzino Yang has performed solo recitals in London, Paris, Rome, Brussels, Frankfurt, New York, Helsinki, Boston, and Philadelphia and concertos with orchestras in Italy, across the US, and in the UK. She has also performed as part of Harrisburg’s Market Square rising star series and the Taos Chamber Music Group, and received top prizes in the Adelphi Orchestra, All City Orchestra, YCVT, Caprio, Charleston, and Vivace competitions. Eliana has collaborated with members of the Emerson, Tokyo, Borromeo, Vermeer, Audubon, Aizuri, and Momenta string quartets, Ensemble Epomeo, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE). Recital partners include pianists Ieva Jokubaviciute, Amy Yang, and Clare Hammond. In 2015 she traveled to Budapest, Hungary, to play for composer György Kurtág and cellist Miklós Perényi and in 2016 she played for composer George Crumb. Past programs include Thy Chamber Music Festival (Netherlands), IMS Prussia Cove (England), Yale’s Norfolk Music Festival, Kneisel Hall, Perlman Music Program, Sarasota Music Festival, Heifetz Institute, Taos School of Music String Quartet Seminar, Accademia Internazionale di Music di Cagliari (Italy), Castleman Quartet Program, Meadowmount School of Music, and Carnegie Hall’s New York String Orchestra Seminar.
Eliana plays on a Gustave Bernadel cello made in Paris in 1892. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from The Juilliard School in New York.
Pianist Alex Wilson is renowned for his performances of the music of composer, rower and war hero F.S.Kelly: a CD of first recordings of the solo piano music was released in 2020, with a second recording – featuring Kelly’s works alongside new music by composer Sadie Harrison – released in 2023. Alex is a former British Contemporary Piano Competition finalist, Park Lane Group Young Artist and performer of new music across Britain and Europe as soloist and chamber musician. He has performed at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall, and at the Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow, and has appeared on both BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 6 Music as a champion of contemporary music. Recent solo concert tours of the forgotten piano music of WW1 (‘Banks of Green Willow’) and celebrating the European traditions associated with Christmas (Noël: a concert by candlelight) have enjoyed critical praise. Alex performs with the Trifarious Ensemble and The Sound World Group, and is a 'Live Music Now’ artist as one half of ‘Duo Tutti’, alongside flautist Ruth Molins. As an orchestral pianist Alex works with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, BBC NOW, UPROAR new music ensemble and London Sinfonietta. Alex directs, manages and performs with the Dr K. Sextet, curated the inaugural Cheltenham Music Festival Composer Academy and co-founded the music and visual arts collaboration The Pierrot Project. Alex graduated from the Royal College of Music with a MA (distinction) in piano performance.
