Event information
iyatraQuartet deliver innovative fusion with orchestral instruments, and make their third fabulous HHMF appearance. The quartet re-imagine ancient melodies, early music and folk tales through their unique contemporary, improvised twist. Taking their name after the Hindi word for travel or pilgrimage, the ensemble will take you on a journey through place and time at The Half Moon. Their distinct vocal harmonies emerge from a rich sound world of soaring strings, the exuberant lyricism of the bass clarinet and sensitive percussion abound with groove.
