Matt Monro once sang for JFK. Nat King Cole broke racial barriers and sold over 50 million records. Both redefined elegance in popular music and now, their songbooks come alive at Boisdale in Matt & Nat, led by two men who know swing inside out.
Chris Dean, former trombonist and musical director of the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, brings big band polish and razor-sharp arrangements. Gary Williams, dubbed “the UK's leading standard bearer for the supercool era” by the London Evening Standard, delivers Monro’s velvet touch and Cole’s effortless phrasing with style to match.
