Our opening session focuses on Colombian cinema’s powerful exploration of armed conflict as experienced and interpreted by children. This session invites us to reflect on the emotional and political depth that children’s experiences bring to representations of conflict, while opening a space to discuss cinema’s role in shaping collective memory and fostering dialogue around peace and reconciliation.
