Chris Coull's 'Blues & the Abstract Truth'. Oliver Nelson's writing & improvising flair were brought together in this classic album from 1961, 'a must-have' record for any collector.
The line-up follows the instumentation on the original recording. Chris Coull (trumpet), Andy Panayi (alto sax), Sam Miles (tenor sax), Alan Barnes (baritone sax), John Donaldson (keys), Paul Whitten (bass), Joe Edwards (dms).
