The Marriage are a folk/ Americana duo consisting of the combined talents of Kirsten Adamson (The Tanagers - 'exceptional' Americana UK, 'a talent to watch' No Depression) and Dave Burn (Orphan Colours - 'get on board early before this band become Jools Holland's latest discovery' 5 stars Maverick Magazine). Brought together by a shared passion for song writing and a constantly overlapping and intertwining musical career, Americana duo The Marriage embody the beauty that can be achieved through the collaboration of two brilliant musical minds.

Kirsten and Dave have been surrounded by music their entire lives, with Dave first picking up a guitar at the age of 7 and being signed by a major label at 15 and Kirsten spending her summers in Nashville with her father Stuart Adamson, founder of Skids and Big Country. Both have been playing in touring bands since their teens.Their intimate and eloquent lyrics weave stories of love, loss and life’s complexity and their powerful and flawless vocals compliment each other in beautifully intertwined harmonies that mesmerise the listener.

Playing solo tonight, singer-songwriter Andy Barbour heads alt-mystic-country band ‘The Silver Arrow Collective’. With comparisons to The Jayhawks, The Band, My Morning Jacket and Buffalo Springfield, S.A.C. combine folk, L.A 70’s rock and roll and psychedelia. Creating arrangements sometimes lush and sweeping, at other times sparse and beautiful, their songs take the audience on a roadtrip of cinematic landscapes and melodic reverie. The Silver Arrow Collective have just finished their darkly rapturous first album and are looking forward to bringing their songs to a deserted ranch near you.
