Event information
An evening of fine music from Independent Writers, Performers and Recording Artists, all hailing from the East Midlands -
Paytron Saint - are an alt-rock trio hailing from the hills of the Amber Valley, Derbyshire. Working from their own studio HQ, The Chicken Coop, the band have received growing worldwide attention for their recent string of releases and intense live performances including airplay on the BBC, Best Song and Best Band nominations from Radio Wigwam (winning the latter in 2023), festival appearances and collaborations with noted electronica artist Jon Kennedy and gothic pop legend JJ Lovegrove. Currently working on their first full length album.
Robyn Wallis Johnson - is a folk acoustic lyrical singer and song writer from the Midlands. Her writing travels through past lessons in love and life, the more she seems to jauntily confess the more the audience become captivated by the songs ! If Joni Mitchell had come from Derbyshire …....
Emzae - As an Independent artist, emzae writes, records, produces and mixes her own music, playing every instrument and singing every vocal layer on each track. Her songs play around with the definition of pop, blurring sub-genres to create her own varied, yet distinct sounds, while her lyrics span themes including change, self-doubt, confusion, empowerment and social commentary.
