Event information
Whether your wand is for casting spells or charming Dartmoor Pixies, it will be magically and uniquely yours. Everyone welcome, suitable for families, children must be accompanied.
Tamsin regularly makes hand held sculptures she calls "wands" in an intuitive process using materials and objects she finds lying around, often during walks. In a practice akin to making Aboriginal Journey Sticks and Shamans Wands, Tamsin considers these art objects to be a kind of Binding. The wands encapsulate a moment and feeling in time and place, and are usually playful.
Suitable for ages 8 and up, this workshop will last around one hour, includes materials and you will be able to take away your own wand! Family ticket available.
