Hop aboard the Arts Barge for York The Plank – a fast, furious and gloriously chaotic stand-up comedy showcase helmed by your host, Chris Booker – comedian, aspiring sci-fi writer, and charmingly underqualified sea captain for the night.
Expect a full-blown mutiny of mirth from a deck stacked with York’s finest comedic talent, each doing short, sharp sets packed with their best material.
We’ve crammed in as many acts as the barge will hold, so brace yourself for a night of locally sourced laughs, unexpected moments, and total comic mayhem.
Anchors aweigh, punchlines at the ready – it’s loud, it’s fast, it’s gloriously unpredictable – and it’s going to be a flippin’ fantastic voyage!
