Event information
With Lost Dogs blend of dance, theatre and comedy, this Juliet & Romeo reveals the real story behind Shakespeare's lovers who it turns out didn't die in a tragic misunderstanding but grew up and lived happily ever after. Well, they lived at least!.
Now they're 40ish and one of them is in the grips of a mid life crisis, they feel mocked by their teenage selves and haunted by the pressure of being the poster couple for romantic love. They decide to confront their struggles by putting on a performance- about themselves. Their therapist told them it was a terrible idea.
Directed by Olivier nominated Ben Duke Wingfield Barns are thrilled to be host this 5 star show in collaboration with Creative Arts East. This contemporary adaptation is full of award winning choreography with fabulous storytelling, speech and comedy. Inventive smart writing all played along to a pop classics soundtrack. Not to be missed. Please note this performance runs for 75 minutes after which there will be a Q and A with the performers to round off the evening.
