Event information
Amelia Coburn is a rising star in the UK’s indie folk scene, known for her crystal-clear vocals, poetic storytelling, and theatrical flair. She blends folk, pop, and world music influences into something truly her own—think Joni Mitchell meets Wes Anderson.
Drawing inspiration from gothic literature and the shadowy allure of film noir, there is a darkness at the heart of many of her songs, populated by vivid characters and nocturnal creatures that inhabit the liminal space.
Her debut album, "Between the Moon and the Milkman dropped in 2024 and earned critical acclaim for its cinematic scope and lyrical depth. One standout track, “Le Fabuleux Destin de Sandra,” even has a French-language version and tells a tale of post-mortem revenge. Now that’s drama!
She’s also been named one of Louder Than War’s “25 Acts to See in 2025” and is set to perform at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room this October.
Whether solo or with a full band, her live shows are magnetic—equal parts cabaret, folk balladry, and literary dreamscape.
Support comes from Americana artist Alexander McKay
"A great voice with great tunes" - Paul Weller in Mojo Magazine
“A world full of darkness and light and soundtracked by magic and melancholy” - Louder Than Wa
