The concert will also feature a specially commissioned light show, inspired by the northern lights, adding to the magical ambience of the event.

Join the celebrated Piccadilly Sinfonietta for a rich and evocative programme featuring some of the most beloved works from the Romantic and early modern eras. From the lyrical warmth of Elgar to the dramatic flair of Grieg, this concert promises an evening of elegance and inspiration.

The concert includes much-loved masterpieces by Grieg, such as 'Morning' and the thrilling drama of In the Hall of the Mountain King, from his Peer Gynt suite. The emotional depth of Elgar’s Nimrod (from the Enigma Variations) follows, a timeless tribute to friendship and remembrance. The evening concludes with a tour de force performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor—a masterpiece of Romantic expression, brimming with bold rhythms and sweeping melodies.

Performed by the acclaimed Piccadilly Sinfonietta—featuring some of the UK’s most gifted musicians—under the artistic direction of renowned concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith, this programme offers a stirring journey through passion, poetry, and virtuosity.
