Menace – with a glorious golden jubilee just around the corner, it’s great to have the New Wave’s most enduring street punk outfit, Menace, back again in the Dublin Castle, and now of course with original powerhouse drummer and driving force Noel out front as lead singer and rabble rouser. Always a brilliant night out, so many great punk anthems to their name.

Taurus Trakker – at first glance TT have that White Stripes formula of female drummer and a guy to the fore singing and playing guitar…but this is classic, indeed classy, tribally driven punky pop. Great rousing, energetic stuff with Clash connections.

Daddy Those Men Scare Me – alongside Menace DTMSM must be the band we’ve booked most at Bugbear over the years. Both go back to our very inception in 1996…so how bizarre they’ve never appeared on a bill together before! Well the planets have finally aligned…and if you don’t know their stuff, firstly shame on you, but secondly here’s your chance to catch up with London’s answer to Half Man Half Biscuit if HMHB actually from North London and were channeling the Buzzcocks via a beery folk convention!
