Sara Milonovich is an alt-country singer, songwriter, and fiddler from upstate NY, who along with guitarist Greg Anderson, delivers a heady harvest of fiddle-driven original Americana roots music that captivates audiences with atmospheric, powerful storytelling; words that paint poignant scenes, and melodies that linger long after the last listen.
From upstate New York, singer, songwriter and fiddler Sara Milonovich delivers a heady harvest of heart-stopping original roots and alt-Americana gems. Her latest album, ‘Northeast’, is packed with atmospheric, powerful pieces, with words that paint poignant, personal scenes, and melodies that linger long after the last listen.
Sara, a 2023 Bluebird Golden Pick Winner (Bluebird Cafe/Taylor Guitars) and 2022 Americana Artist of the Year (Capital District Thomas Edison Music Awards), is also a seasoned side musician to such artists as Richard Shindell and Jim Gaudet, and was a featured player in the recent smash Broadway musical 'Come From Away’.
Greg Anderson is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from the musical melting pot of New York City. He has performed and recorded with a wide variety of artists in an even wider variety of musical genres and is well known for his work in folk and world music scenes. He was long-time guitarist with Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul and spent nine years touring with celebrated Irish vocalist Cathie Ryan.
He has worked with myriad other singers including Richard Shindell, Dar Williams, Tommy Sands, Susan McKeown, Jeff Wilkinson, and Dave Moore, and has also accompanied Steeleye Span fiddler Peter Knight and Irish accordion great James Keane to former Shakti violinist L. Shankar, among countless others.
