For our September Rotation we welcome a man who should need absolutely no introduction, the legendary Soul Sam. From beginning to play records in the early 1960s, through his sets at iconic venues including Wigan Casino, Cleethorpes and St.Ives to the current time where Sam is still at the very top of his game. Sam has always been breaking records before anybody else, with a collection beyond imagination with a number of records which are absolutely unique just to himself.
When we first explored this with Sam he commented that everybody always wants to hear him play the same old set and asked if he could have freedom to play whatever he wanted. We of course immediately agreed as we want a real insight into Sam’s personal taste and his current favourites.
How much are we looking forward to this, immensely that’s for sure, hopefully we’ll see you on the dancefloor.
