Thornton Hough Village Club presents My Darling Clementine.

For what began life as a side project for Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish, a labour of love, a homage to the classic country duets of the 60’s and 70’s, My Darling Clementine has grown significantly. Over the past twelve years, they have released six critically acclaimed albums and a DVD collection and played over 1,000 shows worldwide. The numerous accolades and awards they have won have placed the band at the forefront of the ever-burgeoning Americana scene.

They have an extensive and revered back catalogue. Michael and Lou’s songs have been covered by over 40 different artists and featured in various films and TV shows.

Lou’s song ‘No Matter What Tammy Said’ was placed in the top 25 country songs of the 21st Century by Country Music People magazine, while Michael’s song ‘Riding The Range’ was covered by the late, great Townes Van Zandt.

Outstanding songwriters and singers individually, who between them have worked with a range of artists including Nick Cave, Bryan Ferry,, The Brodsky Quartet, Steve Earle, Nils Lofgren, Ron Sexsmith, & Graham Parker, together they create harmonious magic and are a formidable musical force.
