Be afraid, be very afraid- for this Hallowe’en in the Dublin Castle we give you The Eternal Night of The Banshee…the musical equivalent of a Hammer Horror film fest, shot thru with a bit of Ballardesque existential sci-fi and classic 20th Century post punk Noir. And nobody’s used the word ‘Goth’ yet.
Oops.
Dead Souls Vs Premature Burial you might say, coz Siouxsie and the Banshees are lovingly, indeed effortlessly echoed by the remarkable Painted Bird, whilst Joy Division are channeled with brutal efficiency by Unknown Pleasures.
So, a double header of dark, deviant, game changing music that we can all sing along to. And DJ Fuzz will no doubt be unveiling a special set of spine tingling dancefloor deviant delights to keep you all bopping til 2am. Dress to impress with Hallowe’en in mind.
