Brown Boots Boogie Band sees the formidable melodeon and fiddle duo of Will Allen and Martin Clarke, combine with Will Chamberlain on piano and Paul Quarry on drums.

This is party night! We'll be performing tracks from the new album and celebrating the launch of Dancing Boots in style. We're extremely proud of it so come and have a boogie!

About Dancing Boots
We formed Brown Boots in 2017 as a concert duo, performing music rooted in the folk-dance tradition, but with arrangements that gave us the freedom to interact and explore the possibilities of the melodies we were playing.

From the beginning, people kept asking us - "Do you play Ceilidhs?". Well, here's the answer. Meet the Brown Boots Boogie Band.

With the addition of Will Chamberlain (keyboards) and Paul Quarry (drums), the Boogie Band aims to live up to its name by following some simple principles: That melody is key to danceability, that any arrangements should be sympathetic to it, and that even the most familiar dance tunes are well-known for a reason - after all, many have made people dance for hundreds of years.

These are tunes we just love to play. In true Brown Boots style we may mess with the mood, the textures and the space, but here it's all about shaping the dance to compel our audiences to move and express themselves on the dancefloor.

Our inspirations for this album are drawn from far and wide. From Jimmy Shand to Old Swan Band, Wolfstone to Banter, New Orleans jazz to ABBA...

So come and join us at the wonderful, esteemed music venue Jamboree, and let's have a boogie!
