The Fallen Leaves are the swingingest gentleman’s punk rock rhythm n blues combo to ever grace our sainted stage. Always a pleasure and certainly never a chore. Making the garage as swish as the boudoir, as they do, these gents kick up a sizzling freak beat without ever breaking a sweat. Clever!…and all with a wry, knowing nod. Yes, the riffing is rakish and the tunes are tippertop. Essential.
The Boston Brew - from the school of trash that is Mike Spender’s Cannibals, these guys grind out the Nuggets in nifty style. You can hear the dirt under their fingernails. Beautiful.
